The midnight blue linen and black organic cotton create a perfect backdrop for the stunning multi-coloured Tussah silk! Suitable for babies of different ages and toddlers. An illustrated instruction manual will be included (English).
Vanamo baby wraps are organic and ethically made in Finland from pure natural materials. Due to our special weaving technique, Vanamo wraps are soft, pliable and strong. You can comfortably carry your baby from birth to toddlerhood. Woven wraps are also breathable and cool.
Please read the user manual carefully before using the carrier. You can also watch some video tutorials on Youtube.
The fabric is a beautiful blend of soft black organic cotton, dark purple linen and orange silk. The combination of linen and silk makes the wrap light and airy - yet strong and supportive. Although the linen-silk Vanamo wrap is cool and airy for summer, the wrap can be used in all seasons. Kid fabric is diagonally elastic, which means that the baby carrier provides optimal support for the baby and feels comfortable for both the wearer and the baby. This medium weight wrap is perfect for babies of all ages as well as toddlers. Vanamo wraps will soften quite quickly through use and wear.
Tussah silk is a very lively and irregular yarn and it contains lots of large lumps and nubs, and it may even contain a small amount of hay-like organic material. The silk makes the fabric very structured and gives the scarf a good grip.
How to care for your Vanamo wrap :
Hand wash in cold water (30 degrees), hang or dry flat, iron on low heat. Use steam to iron the wrap while it is still slightly damp. NO tumble drying!
We recommend that you wash the baby wrap before you start using it. The scarf becomes softer and easier to tie after washing and ironing, and the fabric gains its optimal structure and density. Each baby wrap has a little extra length for shrinking.
