Vanamo Rentukka, golden yellow hemp & soft easycare merino wool mixed with light creme organic cotton. This Vanamo Custom tri-compound is strong and supportive yet soft and comfortable. Suitable for heavy babies and toddlers. An illustrated instruction manual will be included (English).

The cotton-hemp-wool blend combines all the good properties of hemp and wool. Hemp fibers provide strength and good support - wool makes the wrap soft & fluffy. Vanamo wrap is diagonally elastic and malleable. The special weaving provides optimal support for both the child and the parent. Hemp and wool are breathable and heat-regulating materials. This wrap works great in hot and humid climates. And it feels just as comforting on chilly autumn and winter days. Vanamo tri blends are great wraps for heavy babies and toddlers. Vanamo hemp tri-blends are slightly stronger than the linen tri-blends. A new shawl may feel stiff at first but the fabric will soften gradually as you start using it. Wash and iron with a lot of steam and the shawl will fluff up considerably.

Here's how to take care of your Vanamo wrap :

Hand wash in cold water (30 degrees), hang or flat dry, iron on low heat. Use steam to iron the wrap while it is still slightly damp. NO tumble drying!

We recommend that you wash the baby shawl before you start using it. The shawl becomes softer and easier to tie after washing and ironing, and the fabric gets its optimal structure and density. Each baby wrap has a little extra length to shrink.
