The Vanamo baby wrap is soft from the start and over time after washing and use it becomes huggable!
The Vanamo Kide fabric is a complex blend of twill and tabby weave that creates the unique structured, porous and comfortable baby wrap. The rich crystal pattern is inspired by the old handwoven Finnish linen textiles. After the first wash, the fabric will fluff up and reveal the unique texture.
Here's how to care for your Vanamo wrap:
Machine wash in warm water (40 celcius), hang dry, iron on medium heat. Tumble dryers (on low heat) can sometimes be used, but keep in mind that the dryer also wears out the fabric faster.
We recommend that you wash the baby wrap before you start using it. The wrap becomes softer and easier to tie after washing and ironing, and the fabric gets its optimal structure and density. Each baby wrap has a little extra length to shrink.
