Vanamo wrap is diagonally elastic and malleable. The special weaving provides optimal support for both the child and the parent. Vanamo is a medium weight woven wrap and therefore perfect for babies from birth and the wrap is supportive enough for toddlers too! The Vanamo baby wrap is soft from the start and over time after washing and use it becomes huggable!

The Vanamo Kide fabric is a complex blend of twill and tabby weave that creates the unique structured, porous and comfortable baby wrap. The rich crystal pattern is inspired by the old handwoven Finnish linen textiles. After the first wash, the fabric will fluff up and the unique structure will emerge.


Here's how to care for your Vanamo wrap:
Machine wash in warm water (40 celcius), hang dry, iron on medium heat. The fabric is pre-washed, but we recommend that you wash the wrap before you start using it. Due to the airy weave type, Vanamo Lempi wraps can sometimes have small drafts. They usually disappear with the next wash. It is good to check the wrap from time to time. Below is a video to demonstrate the fixation of strokes with a needle.
