Kapok is a very light plant fiber with a hollow structure.80% of kapok fiber is air!Kapok is spun with organic cotton which strengthens the yarn.Kapok makes the fabric more porous and breathable, and it is also thermoregulating.Due to its lightness, the percentage of Kapok in the total weight of the fabric is low but the percentage in volume is higher.

Here's how to care for your Vanamo wrap:
Wash at 40 degrees, hang or tumble dry, iron on medium heat.NO tumble drying!
We recommend that you wash the baby wrap before you start using it.The shawl becomes softer and easier to tie after washing and ironing, and the fabric gets its optimal structure and density.Each baby wrap has a little extra length to shrink.
